Family Food Packs 
HOPE.wrx assists families with food for the weekends during the school year. We provide the main ingredients for one dinner and one breakfast, as well as canned fruit and vegetables, and packaged snacks. Items such as spaghetti, popcorn, pudding, oatmeal, peanut butter, soup, tuna, rice, and beans are included. This program is known by several names and is available to the children attending schools in the North Kansas City School District. During the 2025-2026 school year, we are serving the following schools:*

- Early Childhood Center
- Davidson Elementary
- Fox Hill Elementary
- Gashland Elementary
- Golden Oaks Elementary
- Maplewood Elementary
- Meadowbrook Elementary
- New Mark Middle School
- West Englewood Elementary
- Topping Elementary
All families participating in this program are referred to HOPE.wrx by their schools. Each week during the school year, dedicated volunteers pack bags with food and deliver them to the above mentioned schools. For the 2025–2026 school year, we are filling 140 backpacks per week—providing support for approximately 560 family members.
